What the seller should prepare
- Turn on the lights and open the curtains
- Clear kitchen counters, tables and the island
- Make the beds and smooth the bedding
- Put away bathroom products and close toilet lids
- Clean mirrors, windows and visible surfaces
- Put personal items, toys and laundry out of sight
- Turn off screens and conceal visible cables
- Plan a place for pets and put away their accessories
- Sweep the entrance and patio, then arrange outdoor furniture
- Move vehicles out of the driveway and put garbage bins out of sight
